I believe that avex just recently sold all their stocks from SM. No reason was given but I think it has something to do with SMs reputation coming under fire from several of their acts recently (DBSK, the guy from Super Junior, etc)

Yes. Plus Avex probably wants to keep Tohoshinki, or at least JYJ all for themselves now XD.

well Avex just dropped SM... or it's the contrary... still dunno
but since the TVXQ problems and Suju ones, they don't use Avex to promote their korean artist in Japan.
SNSD are on an other label.

Boy I'm glad SNSD isn't under avex trax. Less problems for them.

I don't think that the whole thing will affect artists that are signed to both companies. It's not like SM is lending out BoA to avex, she'll have separate contracts for each company.

The only way it will change things is how avex published some Korean albums in Japan and how SM published some of avex's releases in Korea

i like avex for one reason only ! they have no limited edition for CD+DVD Albums/Singles :laugh

poor BoA ... :/ nonetheless please continue to work hard !!! :D
but still, i prefer Avex over SM, like Twinkle ! says, they dun have limited edition for special release :D

i like avex artists more as well ^^ never really interested on TVXQ or other artists/groups under SM. but i like BoA though ^^

^nono, i think avex would want boa to stay with them! but all sm artists left avex, so why would boa stay??? sm and avex are over (i mean them doing stuff together not that the company's are over XD)
