ayu-mi-x III [Original Versions]
 

I'm gonna be annoyed if this has already been done years ago. T_T I searched and nothing came up.

Has anyone seen ayu's ayu-mi-x III commercial [<Link]? Does everyone know what the covers look like? Ayu with butterflies, and Ayu as a cat. Anyways, While watching the commercial a few times; (because I really love it) I noticed that it used the original versions of the pictures used as the covers. The cat version is only shown for a fraction of a second around 12 seconds into the commercial, so there was no problem getting that version. The hard part was pausing it at the exact moment it is shown for that split hair of a second and screen caping it.

The hard one was the cover with the butterflies. The butterfly-less cover is in the second half of the commercial. Butterflies fly all around her face before landing. I took multiple screen-caps and edited them piece by piece until I had all of the original picture without any of the butterflies.

So I present to you the original, and unphotoshopped versions of the ayu-mi-x III covers!

I always wonder if they used the same ayu for both cat and butterfly. Finally I can compare the pictures... no they aren't the same ayu :P.

I realized, she looks odd in the cat photo because they've angled her right eye to look more cat-like. I guess they only bothered with the eye that would be showing.

but they do look like the same picture! the cat version just has the right eye edited to look more like a cat and the butterfly version is just bigger and a color filter on it... but other parts look really similar! you notice the bit of slicked back hair popping on the lower right side of both pictures. also the ear outlines are identical and with even just a slight turn to the head would look different.

anyways wow thanks for these! however long it took to edit the result is pretty flawless... a shame we don't have any place to find these and can only result to video screencaps, but i guess the picture of ayu for the cat explains why they wouldn't release it... xD
