Kouhaku & CDL?

I always wonder, how could she perform in CDL & Kouhaku at the same time in New Year's eve? Or maybe Kouhaku is the recorded show??

anyone knows how? :D :D

She rehearses on the day of CDL up until she has to get ready for Kouhaku, then they speed off to the nearby venue to perform there live (which is why she's been first lately, I think) and finally making it back to Yoyogi to get ready for the second day of CDL which starts at around 10-11PM so that the countdown will be timed correctly.

Ahh yes, I always thought it was something like this; sooo hectic~!! I remember seeing it in the backstage part of 09-10 DVD too and I was...well not surprised, since I tend to expect that Ayu's life is like that and so fast paced, but like I was really impressed.

NHK studios are located just 300 meters away from Yoyogi, so many fans can go to see her live performance through the big screen placed close to the studios before going into Yoyogi.

last year I was there:

Oh, youre so lucky!!She wears the same outfit than in the beginning of CDL, i suppose thatīs why she sang Rule

asmAyumi1992 24th October 2010 06:15 PM

wow, that means, in CDL, she'll wear the same outfit as in Kouhaku. In Kouhaku, she'll probably sing her newest songs from L or maybe from crossroad. If from L, we'll get to see Last angel (or anything from L) for the intro in CDL!! YAY XD

E? Have I been seeing things wrong? The outfits from Kouhaku and from the beginning of CDL are different actually, aren't they? Kouhaku was like...leather pants and a traditional styled top in red, black, gold and things like that, but the CDL outfit was a long dress just with a similar style as the Kouhaku outfit. Though they were very different weren't they? She had changed in between...

^I believe it was different. Not to mention I wouldn't expect what she wears at Kouhaku to definitely show up at CDL. When she sang Dearest, Voyage, No way to say, Moments, JEWEL at Kouhaku none of those dresses were worn at all during CDL and the dress for Together When... varied in length between the two performances.

Eh?? There are screens outside NHK?? I didn't know it XD
Last year I watched Ayu in Kouhaku trought a television in my friend's Ayu-car =D I didn't go to CDL but it's still a beautiful memory ^_^

^ yes, they have placed a big screen located in this esplanade between Cirque du Soleil and NHK studios, I remember when ayu finished her live performance everyone were running like crazy back to Yoyogi xD

IIRC, the only time she wore EXACTLY the same outfit was for fairyland, but that dress was too pretty to use for just one show, haha.
