A tattoo thoughts?
 

i've wanted an A symbol tattoo for a while now and plan on getting one next month, however now i'm debating about getting a line of lyrics that i find totally inspirational, which is from Startin'.
"there is no point in comparing yourself with someone else because everyone has one's own measure."

but i'm not sure where to get it. i'm not even sure where i want the A symbol. of i want to be able to conceal it with clothes of course. any ideas? :D

oh, I wanted an A symbol too! I thought about making it on my left shoulder-blade, close to my heart. but I decided that I'll do this only after seeing ayu live :D

^close to the heart is a great idea. :) i was actually thinking of getting the A symbol on the inside of my wrist, where the "life line" is. for the lyrics, i was thinking about down the middle of the bicep, similar to this:

i would consider across the back or chest, but the lyrics will be in hiragana/kanji so i'm not sure how it'd look.

I'm getting the A symbol with the wing on my right shoulder.

For your first tattoo get it somewhere where there is no bone so it won't hurt that much.
I got my first tattoo a week ago on my thigh and it didn't hurt badly.


I think the A symbol would look good by itself or the lyrics by itself.

They can pretty much draw it for you. Just bring them a reference.

^actually, i really love the HOTEL Love Songs/POWER OF MUSIC A logo! wouldn't that look great in between the shoulders?

I think it's really gross, but then again I'm not a fan of permanent tattoos. But I think it would be a cute idea for fans to get one and maybe show Ayu one day? I'd get a fake one I guess lol.

^haha, it's okay. :P some people don't like tattoos. as long as it means something to you, that's all that counts.

I'll probably someday get a line of an Ayu song tattooed as well :)
Not sure yet where, not sure yet what, but Ayumi's songs, life and lyrics have done so much for me they are a part of me and I love tattoos.

I'm going to have one too, the first line of "Rule" (the verse) and the A symbol. I think it will be placed on my shoulder. I want it so bad, but my parents disagree ............ >:[

that's how i feel. :yes Ayu's music has helped me so much, and she's such an amazing and inspiring person too. i'm really advocate about self image issues, which is why i'm choosing that line from Startin'. :D

What about like a small "A" on the wrist or something...? That'd be cute, I'd get that. I just don't like giant tattoos LOL. What is everyone's favorite "A" for tattoos?

I keep thinking the same actually!!! The Hotel Love Songs logo would look awesome if it was on someone's back going all the way across the shoulders! But then I keep thinking that I shouldn't get that since that tour was cancelled and thus that logo kind of never got used. I mean, I know its on merchandise, but I feel like I can't forget that it was the logo from the cancelled tour.

Anyway, what I think is a REALLY great idea is if you see Ayu in concert, get the logo tattoo from that concert! I want to do this after I see her live (next year i hope) if i can wait that long!

hmm, well since it's used on all of the merchandise, it doesn't bother me so much. i am in love with the logo; it looks so elegant and royal. when we all get our A tattoos, we should make a compilation video for Ayu. XD

i don't think i'll be able to see Ayu live for a long time unfortunately. :(

I'm getting the A with the wing because I really liked MY STORY tour.

I wore an Ayu A sticker from my ARENA TOUR 2008 sticker set while out in the sun and got a little tan tattoo. Lol.
