Fui Ni comes out on July 13th. I can't wait! I thought she should have her own thread since artists like HYNA only have one single out and have their own threads; Tomochin has 4 now (if you include the digital ones).

do we really need nother thread for Tomomi? I think it was fine to talk about her in AKB thread

I think, there's no need for new thread and this way fans are going to create thread for each member and it will be alot of mess...

Well she's probably going to graduate this year so she'll need her own thread anyway >_>

true - if we start with this people will think - why not do to a thread for a chan / no3b / another unit and It will so messy....

I don't see what the big deal is. I'd kind of like to keep Tomochin's solo stuff separate from the AKB stuff since they're so different and she is a full-fledged solo artist in her own right. Like I said, there are threads for artists who have released even less than her, and no one has an issue with those.

I think people are worried about all the different threads that might spawn, following this example....like will there be an Acchan thread? Or a Not Yet thread....

Well even if that ended up happening, I don't see the problem. What "mess" is it making to have separate threads for specific artists and groups? It's like complaining for the sake of complaining...

they are still projects being part of AKB - and it makes more sense that to have one big AKB thread that to have small specyfic arists and groups thread..

Well 'chin has more of a fan base outside of AKB so I think this thread is fine.

Exactly. Tomochin's so different from AKB musically that I think it makes sense for them to be separated.

But anyways, now that that's out of the way...that's amazing that she's #1 on Recochoku! I hope she ends up getting #1 when the actual single is released too. I know it doesn't always end up working both ways, but with how well Dear J sold, I wouldn't be surprised if she got #1 on Oricon as well :D

bondingo, you have made a very happy person out of me right now. :D I've thought about giving Tomochin her own thread before for the reasons you and dreamland wrote but decided against it for the reasons Polyrhythm and Rai wrote. XD Well, it's done now and if the mods aren't against it I guess it's fine.

I can't think of any serious competition she would have next week so Dear J type sales (or preferably higher) should be enough to grab her 1st number one single. :3

Yeah, I totally think the single will sell fine, but I'm not sure if it's going to sell quite as well as Dear J. That sold like...insanely well (at least compared to what I was expecting). I wonder if the novelty of her going solo will have worn off. I guess we'll see soon enough. I think she'll do fine though, especially since she's already#1 on Recochoku.

Did anyone else see that version B's DVD has an ENGLISH interview?!
