Agreed. It's still a hell of a lot better than, say, RB's "Friday" (okay, maybe those are such opposites that you can't even compare them xD). But they definitely feel...repetitive.

this and beloved have some of her worst lyrics, in my opinion. I feel absolutely nothing reading them. progress had amazing lyrics so she still has the ability to write an amazing song, but these are lacking. I really hope it's just a couple lazy songs and she doesn't continue to write like this.

I think it's just a slightly different take on her usual themes which isn't really a bad thing. I wonder if having JUNO or Urata around affected what she would/would not write about.
