J-Fan gave No way to say an 8 out of 10! Hehe the link offers reviews on each track of the single, but I'm too tired and lazy to summarize ;)

i don't blame you. i'm lazy too. i suppose the 8/10 is fair, seeing as how there were some old songs on there.

Not a bad review. While I feel they could have elaborated in many ways (I'm a profesional videogame reviewer) I feel they got the main points accross in what was a somewhat short review, with honest opinions expressed within. I agree completely, and feel this single should be the mark of Ayu's return to #1 overall in Japan.

I think it would've got a 9 or a 10 had Avex included new remixes...:doh Ah well, it was a fair score still.

Definately would've been a better score had AVEX not recycled those acoustic tracks. I'm still not very happy about that. But the mix of it and the original song itself were still very good. And I was glad to see an acoustic version of "No way to say" was included as well.

8/10 seems pretty fair to me.

When I think of 8 - I think Evolution. NWTS is no where near evolution and if M got 6, I would rank NWTS at 4. Okay but nothing to write home about. At least I can listen to the song without hitting repeat 5 secs into it.

I agree with AyuDearest1. The rating was inaccurate.

When I think of 8, I think of Dearest or UNITE! I would say that NWTS deserves a 9 because the composition and lyrics are superior. It's fantastic. It's a nine.

I still consider songs like Evolution or M to be classics even today, and much more deserving of at least an 8 (if not higher) then No Way to Say. While NWTS was a good song, I wouldn't give it an 8/10... more like a 6 or 7.

Yeah, I was surprised that "No way to say" got such a high rating, actually... but my biggest shock was with "&" which received a 10.

Quantity (number of tracks) factors into the rating, too.. so it's not just about quality.

Yea, but some reviews suck and are rated with biase or lack of knowledge...nmm...so reviews and ppl's opinions will always clash, I think its a fair rating though.

But read again...the way its worded is so casual and amateurish..."Not bad", "It's okay though" lol, what insightful comments. The reviewer called the SEASONS and Dearest 'new version' didn't even know they are on previous Ayu-mi-xes. And I think part of the reason he rated it 8 was becuase it was a 7 tracker not 4 o_O" And what kind of reviewer would just call something 'stupid' o_o"

"evolution" isn't a good single overall juding from all the tracks, those remixes are just one word - "horrible" depite that the Original Mix is fantastic.
I'd rather give No way to say a 10, at least I wouldn't skip any track when listening to the whole CD even though it has old songs.

~K+, LMAO!! I agree with you very much. ^^ It does seem kind of brash to call something "stupid." And most all the ballads ever reviewed are called "boring."

hmm i dont think thats true if u guys are not lazy try to listen to both new and old one together ull notice theres just that much different with the instruments that used....

and i personally id give it a 8.5...well the reason i give it a 8.5 is simply that the songs selection is pretty good i'm not ratin this in quantity wise, it gots few of the bestest ayu songs. the only thing i dont like is the remix of NWTS....not too powerful enough to put inthe single

That IS fair considering the fact that the 3 acoustic orchestra ver were on cds already AND the Voyage acoustic orchestra was basically the same as the original.
