Early life of Ayumi
Okay, so i was thinking about this... But I would like to visit where Ayumi grew up when i go to Japan...
I know she was born and lived in Fukuoka, but I would like to know details.. (lol that sounds creepier bad...) Like the area or something... I know there was a video or something done with CNN and she was at the beach? Where was that? Thanks! |
I agree! Like, to walk around the neighborhood she grew up in!!! That would be really neat! Don't worry, it's not creepy!
|
Lol... I didn't think doing it was creepy... the way i asked, I thought was creepy... lol :D
But I would love to do this.. I foudn the video I was talking about, but sadly they saw nothing about where they are! |
We can find the school and the hospital which were shown at NTV 2004 documentary :D
|
^ did they mention the names of those places???
|
^ I don't know but we can make some research :laugh
|
The school is Iikura Elementary. You can put this address into Google Maps and find it:
Japan, 〒814-0161 Fukuoka Prefecture, Fukuoka, Sawara Ward, Iikura, 7丁目30−9 The hospital is Kyushu Medical Center. Here's its address: Japan, 〒810-0065 福岡県福岡市中央区地行浜1丁目8−1 Stalk away, friends! |
^ oh cool! Where did you get so cool info?!
|
Watching the documentary and figuring it out, pretty much. There are signs that say the name of the elementary school and the name of the hospital, so I transcribed the kanji to search for them.
And it took awhile to find this one, cuz I had to do a good deal of map-to-documentary comparison to make sure, but where she says "I used to hang out here", that shopping center/island is here: Japan, Fukuoka Prefecture, Fukuoka, Sawara Ward, Momochihama, 2丁目902−1 (That's the address to a specific store there, "Mamma Mia") I'm pretty sure where she talked about having jumped off into the water while fishing with her dad is on the barricade to the west of that area, based on the rocks there and the view on the other side of the water from where she's walking. |
^ AH you are amazing! this helps so much!
Lol.. i didn't even think about translating the kanji! lol |
Delirium-Zer0, thank you so much!!!
I'll definitely visit these places some day :D |
