mu-mo ordering

i really want some tour goods that only seem to be available on mu-mo...
how do i go about ordering through a middle man? D;
or if anyone here living in Japan could help me out? :D

kinix 5th April 2012 03:48 AM

use tenso as your middleman. It's quite cheap for things that aren't heavy.
Alternatively, you can also use noppin or celga. Take note though that Tenso doesn't provides auctions service.

Thank you kinix!!! Does tenso clear you from custom fees?

Anytime i buy jewelry from Asia, customs fees go through the roof... major turn off (T_T)

Aderianu 5th April 2012 09:39 AM

^ I think it depends from country. I never paid custom fee for anything

No problem!
For the tax question, you would have to check with your country's customs. Like Singapore for example. We have to pay 7% tax for all goods above SGD$400 (price includes shipping fee too =.=)

nope, got sth twice from tenso and custom fee was HUGE

Shipping to Singapore, for expensive item just refrain from using FedEx, they will charge you custom fee. Ems is depending on your luck, so I recommend EMS

Only if your purchase is over SGD$400 ritez?
The customs used to be slack until mid of last year... I remember I'd bought over $1000 worth of items from noppin and wasnt even detain by custom for tax =X
Then suddenly, they detained my parcel... guess they started to wake up and check all the value of the parcels lol...
Anyway, I've just realize a trick on tenso ^^. You could actually adjust the price of the product yourself =) But the bad part is the insurance claiming if there's is any.

But be careful if you order lightstick/uchiwa, because they have batterys inside. I think it was kinix that had problems with tenso because the Playbuttons contained batteries.
Also with the cookies, some middleman whouldnīt ship them because itīs food.

Yeah me and ayuuk had the same problem. However, Tenso provides alternative solution which is by UPS (However, it is much more expensive than EMS.) But for the case like lightstick/uchiwa, I think you can just remove the batteries before shipping. And noppin actually do ships the lightstick/uchiwa as I'd them shipped previously without any trouble.

I have a question,
does mu-mo still requires a third party service such as tenso, etc.? I would like to know if mu-mo sells international or we still have to use a third party service since it will take a long process to do so and it's easier this way if we don't have to use a third party service for people who are living overseas... hopefully they'll change it.

chocopockymaster 13th April 2015 11:57 PM

mu-mo does not ship internationally. You need to sign up for a Tenso account.

I see, but after ordering, how we will know that it will be ship to our address due to we type tenso's address instead after check out?

Is it possible if someone can share a tutorial on that for a first time buyer? I will appreciate it alot.
@chocopockymaster Thank you for reply.

When you sign up for Tenso, you get a unique "box" identification number that is associated with your name. On 'My Page' in Tenso it will give you your unique address to have your packages shipped to and a phone number in case the company you are buying from needs to contact Tenso. Once Tenso receives your package they will send you an email, at which point you can pay for shipping and have the package sent to you overseas.
