Why did iTunes take down Ayu?
 

Sorry if this has been answered a long time ago or something but this has been bugging me for a while and probably some other people too.

Why did ayumi hamasaki disappear from US iTunes?? It has been like this since last year. Makes me sad. :c

A few topics on this already but throught out iTunes "history" J-pop has appeared and disappeared and it has always been because of negotiations with the Japanese record labels over the updates on US iTunes. Forexample, iTunes US is frequently updating the quality of their music and sometimes it takes awhile for negotiations to be made to get the proper quality of the Japanese music. Not sure why it is still gone, but it may be back at some time.

It's annoying though, I love seeing her on there.

It's horrible, I have to add.
I wanted to buy GUILTY off the Canadian iTunes, then it suddenly disappeared.
THEN, I wanted to buy some music videos, but it wouldn't let me. (even though you could see the previews on the iTunes store *dies*)

Ayumi seems to be 'missing' once again from iTunes. No wonder I can't re-downloaded the previous albums I bought of hers! Sheesh. (Correct me if I'm wrong...)

I don't think anyone knows why but a ton of avex artists were removed after iTunes Match was introduced.

Didn't know about this. This sucks.

First album ever bought on iTunes was an Ayu album.

Hope this is just temporary.
