SUMMER BEST discs

Odd question...

Why are the discs on A SUMMER BEST called "Disc N" and "Disc A" instead of Disc 1 and 2 or Disc A and B?

TeamAyu2004 4th July 2012 02:02 PM

^ Im wondering the same thing!
Disc N???
I have no idea what that could stand for!

I don't think so... Fairyland and fated seem to be inspired by him so that theory doesn't really hold up.

From what I read before, I've come to believe that the N and A form the first two syllables of 'natsu' (summer).

Pieces_of_SEVEN 8th July 2012 07:33 PM

Someone should ask ayu on twitter, since nobody knows for sure. I'll ask her.

Karori 12th July 2012 08:47 PM

Interesting question.
Has anybody asked ayu about it?

It could stand for "natsu" and "ayu" but in the sense of "summer-ish" and "ayu-ish" songs. Maybe that's the reason, but I'm not sure at all...

A for Ayumi
N for Nasty

tokyoxjapanxfan 13th July 2012 03:59 AM

lolol

Never Again

truehappiness 13th July 2012 09:53 AM

They're separated by song themes or something, it seems?

Kind of weird though that she went with N and A... they don't seem to mean anything at the moment. For now I'm just thinking they're N-A-tsu. or something.

^^ I was just having fun :-/
I've already shared that I thought it was for representing the na in natsu. But I'm sorry.

Deep snow 15th July 2012 12:43 PM

I don't think we can ever find out unless ayu speaks about what it means, but I think N-A as in the first syllable of 'natsu' would likely be what it is (although, I think it would be better if it's DISC-NA and DISC-TSU if it were up to me) (if it does mean N-A as in NAtsu, then it somehow gives me an incomplete feel because DISC T, S & U are nowhere to be found :s) (but that's me)

JackieRos 15th July 2012 01:32 PM

I don't think it means anything
