Ayu workout songs

Hello!
The search function doesn't seem to work for me and since I couldn'd find a thread like this I hope it's ok.

What songs by Ayu do you think works well during a work out? What songs do you listen to when you want to become energized and push hard?

microphone 23rd July 2012 03:32 PM

Sparkle, Rule and Last angel are my favorites.

Do you mean running or do you mean lifting / core work? When I run, I like the tempo to be fast! So I always start my run out with this remix:

http://soundcloud.com/helblinde/helb...g-higher-i-ayu

It really keeps me going and I always get excited while pushing through! It kicks major ass!

I love trance but it's too slow for me to run too. The eurobeat stuff is nice, sometimes still a little slow though but great for most other workouts. Especially the megamixes from ayu-ro mix 3 and the eurobeat remix from LOVEppears DISC 2.

Neyvaa 23rd July 2012 07:17 PM

I do both weight lifting and some (but not as much) running. So I want both music I get motivated by as well as something with a good tempo. :) My gym plays music I don't like and sometimes there's even slow songs. Today I was surprised how many songs I liked though, but that's a rare occasion. I'm definitly gonna check out some of those trance and maybe eurobeat albums now and see if I find something I like :)

Thanks for all non-remixed songs too! :D

Because you can hear her singing "1,2 Stab you"

I don't make a lot of sport. However this summer, I run with my parents at the weir.

I listen to:

BLUE BIRD
Energize
Shake it ♥
NaNaNa
Beautiful Fighters
UNITE!
evolution
Independent
You & Me
SURREAL
AUDIENCE
progress
Connected
Last Angel
fairyland
INSPIRE
NEXT LEVEL
Rule
Not songs but interludes:Jump! & DISCOmunication
Sunrise~LiA~
Startin'
SIGNAL
Depend on you

Maybe I should try some remix album as a lot of people use them.

Deep snow 24th July 2012 12:41 AM

Her summer songs, really. The upbeat ones, I meant; not the oh-my-God-the-end-of-summer-is-here-everyone's-gonna-die summer um ballads.

My ultimate running song is Greatful days, the rest, well

AUDIENCE "Dave Ford Mix" (has more 'kicks' than the Album Version)
glitter
BLUE BIRD
Fly high "Album Version" (obviously has more 'kicks' than the HAL's Mix 2000)
independent (not my cup of tea, but works very well with exercises)
July 1st (it's so amazing how this song builds as it goes. Perfect to motivate)
Sunrise ~LOVE is EH~

God I can't think of others. The not-necessarily-summer songs but also works:

Startin'
Born To Be...
Mirrorcle World (works really well for obvious reasons)
Rule (dear God does this one work)
Sparkle
Sexy little things

Wow these are going to make an amazing playlist. BRB doing that.

truehappiness 24th July 2012 01:10 AM

I've found that Like a doll is an awesome treadmill track unless you're sprinting or something.

Deep snow 24th July 2012 01:53 AM

^ Interesting. I never see the Love songs tracks this way. Now that you mentioned Like a doll, for me the only tracks that would fit in for an exercise would be Love song (oddly enough) and do it again (I know). The rest of them sound too depressing for sports for me. (And I find Thank U too corny, thank you very much)

truehappiness 24th July 2012 03:21 AM

Well, Thank U fits in with the ANGEL'S SONG/Born To Be.../Beautiful Fighters vein of enthusiastic encouraging Ayu tracks... WHICH I LOVE. They basically fit any situation except when you feel horrible and need to listen to teddy bear, End of the World, Duty, Together When..., and other rather depressing Ayu tracks.

This version of Fly high has all the "kick" you'll ever need! (Not to mention the most beautiful breakdown)

It depends on what I'm doing. But two of my fav remixes are great for working out imo.

Glitter x SOUL CENTRAL from ayu-mi-x 6: GOLD

Far away Laugh and Peace mix from M single I believe <3

And then just a lot of her remixes as people suggested

tokyoxjapanxfan 24th July 2012 08:15 AM

i like listening to angel's song :) that is, when I actually go to the gym. lol
