(&) ..question on mine.

hm..this summer i went to california..right when "&" was released. i bought it, of course. =P.(in asahiya bookstore) well, since i bought it..NOT in japan, i always figured it was an overseas version. however, just now i had a recent htought that "HEY! it just might be the japan version!". i think this because..
a) it didnt come with a sheet with the chinese lyrics on it like my daybreak overseas did
b) i thought overseas versions are released a little bit AFTER teh japan version is out

just wondering if any of you have the overseas version of "&", you could tell me if your version came with taht chinese lyric sheet, or any other thing sit came with in either teh jpn or os versions. the only thing inside mine was a white sheet to send in to cavex. :shrug just wana make sure what mine was, since in teh store it doesnt label it "OVERSEAS". ..i'll try and get pictures up when i can..

PS--anyone notice my new cool ava? :cool

the best way to check if ur single/album is japan/oversea version......... is check the obi's number at the bottom(side).....oversea only have 3 numbers like 3xx..........on the other hand japan version have 5 numbers like this 3xxxx...both version usually starts with the number 3 and i don't know bout usa.....but here in canada we get both oversea/japan version
and oversea goes to everywhere not only to taiwan ^^

edit: and for the album....both ver have 5 numbers pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ vers. usually starts with 1xxxx and oversea should start with the number 9xxxxx

Doesn't it say where it is manufactured on the back of the CD? Thats how I know if mine are overseas or japan.

I look for the price in yen!

ayumi_pukka89 27th November 2003 03:38 PM

another way to check..........well......it works for me...[w/ singles mostly]
is to see what the case says [inside]....cuz usually is its overseas it will just say [DISC] but if its japan version it will say [AVEX]
....i dunno...I hope Im right ^^;;

Usually bookstores like Asahiya and Kinokuniya just sell the Japanese version of CD's (I've never come across a overseas version in the stores)

Doesn't the CD number start with AVCD for Japanese version CD's? I think they add a 'T' after the AV for Taiwain, but I could be wrong since i've never bought a overseas version of anything (I hope that didn't sound snobby, cause it wasn't meant to be).

AVT just means avex trax..the full of the company

When you buy an avex CD, if it says "AVCD" then it's manufactured by avex Japan and considered to be a Japan version; if it says "AVTCD", then the CD is manufactured by avex Asia in Hong Kong and of course it's an overseas version. Also, there's another overseas version by avex Taiwan where it says "AVJSG".
