Buying music from Japan Itunes?

Hi there, wasn't sure where to put this, so I hope this is the right thread! :)

I was wondering if anyone knows, or has been able, to buy from Japan Itunes? I'd like to buy Ayu's, Kuu's etc music from there since it's cheaper for me and I love the quality, and it means I can directly support them (as I usually have to get the HK versions)...However since I live in the UK and have a UK account, it won't allow me to.

Is it possible to get round this? Or to just make a Japan account using a UK debit card?

Thanks in advance! :love

I tried buying from them but I think you need a japanese itunes card.
You could buying them online.

this is one reason why i do not like itunes...
but you need your area's choice of itunes card...
meaning if you want japan itunes, you need japan itunes card.
or HK itunes, you need to have a itunes card from there.

Follow the instructions at JPopcentral to set up an iTunes JP account and use Japan Codes to purchase gift cards.

I bought Love songs, Rock 'n' Roll Circus, and (miss)understood all on iTunes Japan. I bought my gift card here. Good luck! :)

A friend told me a few weeks ago that she could buy stuff from itunes japan without a giftcard, didn't try but I guess it depends on your credit card.

In the meantime, you can buy a gift card, it's efficient enough and not that expensive. Japan Codes are the cheapest I've seen so far, they often have bargains too.
