Not really a news but Gackt has made a cover of SEASONS during his last live ! not bad at all =D

i just found this and came here to check if there was news on it.
he sounds wonderful. i love the rockish feel his band added to the song.

he has changed the basis for adapting to his voice, that is different from ayu.
but i love u also this version and infact, i've realised a fanart cover ahahah

I've already stated this in the "anything goes" thread;

I like the live instrumental his band did but I cannot digest his voice at all. It's unbearable to listen to.

Yes, his arrangement is a good idea, it could be great if Ayumi makes a cover of a gackt's song too ! xD

I wish avex would release a cover album of ayu's stuff like they do for TRF :/ would be cool to hear other artists' takes on her songs

I always said she needs to work with G...i mean GACKT, for arangements... too bad they are both on the same level of greatness to get "together" in that way...=/ but HEY GACKT did a cover, that's a LOT, from a dude like him!

This cover from GACKT's event tour named Camui gakuensai, where G cover many other artists's songs. He cover GLAY, HYDE, B'z, Nakashima Mika, Mr Children ... before but I never thought he would do a cover of Ayu's song. So I was really surprised and happy in the same time when hearing this version of Seasons.

I'm GACKT's fan too so I went to this live last year. Don't know why but I cried,there's sth really special to see the connection between my two precious beloved artists ^_^
Anyway, I love both two versions, it's hard to compare because they're both great in different ways.

I don't really know how to convey how surreal it feels to see the first Japanese pop artist I really obsessed over covering a song by the person who took his place. :O
