So, this idea just came to mind. Choose your favorite album out of these j-pop divas while they were at their peak! Many different styles for a forum of people with many different tastes. Poll up!

I have to go with LOVE COOK. It was such a different album for its time, and I love the Ramen song. :D

Best ~Second Session~ - Koda Kumi

I think all the albums listed are great, but it's hard to top 'First Love'.

The decision not to include Akina Nakamori or Seiko Matsuda here is a sin though.

First Love probably, but Duty come's as a close second.

to LOVE - Nishino kana, not an option but it should be when Miliyah is on there too (out of the chosable ones Duty ofc)

Shoso Strip - Shiina Ringo

Ooof this was a little difficult. Second Session is one of my favorite albums from Kuu, and LOVE by Mika Nakashima is as well. I listen to almost every other artists and can easily say I have a favorite album from them (that aren't on the list). However, Duty is my favorite Ayu album, and Ayu is my favorite artist.

BEST ~second session~ has a blow me away vibe that those other albums doesn't. And it stays there every time I listen to it (despite that I'm not a big fan of DDD or KAMEN) unlike with those other ones which seems to have lost that kind of feeling somewhere over the years. So, I voted for my Queen Koda Kumi because BEST ~ss~ always sounds fresh when I listen to it. :)
