want to go Japan next year to see Ayu!

Wasn't sure whether here or enquiries was better. But anywho! I was hoping to go next year to see her but I wanted everyone's 2 cents- do you think there will be another tour? She has one every year but what are the improbable chances she won't.

By favourite tour was the 10th anniversary one, then PREMIUM countdown after maybe. They were so elaborate, very original and I would have loved to be a part of that experience.

So
a) is everyone confident there, like always, will be a tour?
b) based on how everyone has been her last few tours unfold, is the general belief that it'll be up to the standards of ayumi hamasaki?

I hope to hear everyones thoughts. Thanks!

I want to go to see ayu too for the first time in my life but I don't know when xDD
I think she will have a tour every year, there is no reason to not have a tour :)

I suppose it will be a tour next year as always, but to ensure you see her in live you can attend to the countdown live which always take place and must be an amazing experience!

Pieces_of_SEVEN 11th September 2015 11:47 PM

I hope there will be. I plan on going also.

And of course, I don't think ayu would do a tour if she didn't think she could live up to her own standards.

I'm tired of repeating it, but Ayu herself said that she'll be back in Sendai with another tour next year. So it's happening.:-)

I really want to go to a concert but can't find a friend too go with and I am too scared of going on my own and getting lost or something. Maybe this forum can plan a sort of group activity when a couple of AHS member can go on the same week and stay in the same hotel and meet up and stuff. That way I wouldn't be too scared. I am such a baby, I know.

Japan is a very safe country, there's no need to worry:-) I tell you what, LOTS of Japanese Ayu fans go to her concerts alone. My point is you don't have to restrain yourself from going because of some excuses while she's still touring and you can afford it.

Don't let fear hold you back from experiences. Challenge yourself! You will grow so much from doing so!

I had went alone a few weeks after I graduated high school - couldn't speak the language, and couldn't for the life of me figure out how the FUCK to get OUT of the Shinjuku subway station for like 2 hours (after flying 15 hours of travel mind you), and ended up walking an hour out of my way in the wrong direction the night before Ayu's concert when I decided to head out to Shibuya (leading me to walk 2 hours in the rain to get back to my hotel). Now, don't let this scare you - after the trip, you really gain a sense of "wow, look at what I'm capable of doing," and you realize that many boundaries in life are only limitations that you set on yourself.

Go for it!

I was scared myself as well as before that , I never went aboard alone by myself . As much as I felt scared , I felt really liberated after I came back as I realised it wasn't so bad after all

I don't know what're your concerns but language wise if you're focusing on Tokyo only , you don't have to worry because Tokyo now is a lot more tourist friendly as compared to 10-20 years ago

My mum who went Tokyo many years back said back then the subway train stations had no English signs unlike now . And you'll be surprised that the train station staff are able to speak very good English , probably better than me if I should say so myself lol

I definitely will go back Japan again on my own in the near future for sure

Also as long as you do a bit of a homework on how to go certain places & all that , it will be ok . If you never plan anything & just go another country as it's , then there's a cause for worry

Shinjuku station is a nightmare :dead2
I lived in Tokyo for a whole year and by the end of that period I still wasn't able to figure out the right exit every time I went there. I usually just decided to chose the first exit I found and figured out where I had to go from outside, which worked because I knew Shinjuku well, I just couldn't understand that station :laugh

My problem wasn't trying to find the right one, it was trying to figure out how to escape from ANY of them! I had the Japan Rail Pass, where as everyone else had reloadable cards. I tried to exit like everyone else and the little gates would just close on me and start yammering in Japanese. I circulated about 3 exits before I finally discovered a pictogram that demonstrated showing the JRP to a booth attendant. It was so simple but excruciating to try and figure out.

Hi there ! I'm going to Japan next year too (2 or 3 weeks in April) and I have to tell my boss which weeks I'm planning to leave. According to her past schedules, when do you think the tour may start this year ?
Thank you guys <3

Thank you for your quick answer =)

^ It's a guesstimate based on past years' tours.

I'm doing an internship in Shanghai next summer, so I do plan on going to Japan for a week around the time Ayu has a concert somewhere in there. I'd be glad to meet some of you there ! :D

I saw that and was so tempted! Since I don't have any ayu tour dates for 2016 yet though, I couldn't make any moves! :P

Possible travel to Japan April next year, I wonder if there's any arena tour during that period :love

Pieces_of_SEVEN 23rd October 2015 06:38 AM

We'll have to wait a while for an official announcement with dates and such. I'm just as excited though!
