Ayu possibly leaving Twitter? (her Twitter is now a staff account)
 

EDIT: Ayu's Twitter has been reborn as a staff managed Twitter. Ayu might say something once in a while.

Earlier tonight, about an hour ago, Ayu started changing her Twitter around.

What formerly was an image of her and one of her dogs as her avatar became the "I hate you..." tweet image she posted a few days ago. Now it is a still of kanariya (a hint perhaps?) along with ayumi hamasaki OFFICIAL TWITTER as her location.

She is currently in the middle of deleting all tweets she's made. (about 600 in the last few minutes) I am assuming that they will keep the Twitter but repurpose it so that she and staffers (or maybe just staffers) will post on it. All old tweets are pretty much going to be gone at this rate.

I wonder what triggered this and I really hope she is okay. Japanese fans are worried.

kanariya being chosen as her avatar is probably no coincidence, so the lyrics must summarize what she's going through at the moment.

Basically says what the description did. "This account was reborn as an account for Ayu's management to spread the latest information. Thank you. Sometimes Ayu might mutter here...".

Why is she posting a pic of kanariya? If she doesn't like performing the song then I would assume that she wouldn't like it.

Anyway it's probably the end of an era. Maybe it's reverse promo for AH17.

That is probably why she chose kanariya.

Either way, I think we're losing Ayu on Twitter. She is probably going to bring this up on tour, isn't she? Next shows are in Fukuoka.

If she's thinking to leave Twitter, would it be much more easier to disable the account rather than deleting tweets? I think (and hoping), may be, she's not leaving Twiter but like what you said, to repurpose her Twitter.

If she's doing this, she probably will not use it for a while and instead have staff communicate on it. Perhaps a staff member is the one deleting everything at the moment? It just seems a bit sad to lose all these years of tweets to get a fresh start. Maybe she just wants to start anew on Twitter after whatever happened.

Is her Facebook still active? (I can't access that too T_T )

1st she unfollowed the minimal small number of accounts on Twitter & now either she or someone is deleting away all traces of tweets from her account , aside from changing her avater + background photos

This's not normal , I'm also worried as well . Something bad must have triggered for this to happen :x

Yeah, but it's pretty much the same as them all being gone if they're all set to "only I can see them" to delete. I guess whoever was deleting noticed people were @-ing her.

I just hope we get an explanation.

I think we're going to get one during the concert this week if we don't get one on Twitter.

It's just too sudden and rather shocking for there to not be one. You can bet people are going to do the usual "AYU WHY ARE YOU DOING A PUBLICITY STUNT AGAIN" at BBSes and news articles though with reporters asking for official comments.

That´s so sad, I always liked her communication with her fans and now because of some stupid idiots she leaves it to staff >< (I guess it´s because of the divorce rumors....)

It was nice having her on Twitter for the last 5-ish years. The end of an era.

I follow Ayu only on twitter :-( If she's gone idk how else I'd feel the connection...

I hope there will be explanation soon. This is all too weird. Like she can just make an announcement and say this will be deleted and change avi to an A symbol. So i guess something big must have happened.

And have you guys heard of Youtube Red?? I'm surprised they haven't blocked avex's videos, incluidng Ayu's yet.

Ok so now her Twitter account will be solely managed by her staff with her occasionally tweeting from time to time

It's sad , just because of internet trolls this has to happen :x

At least she will not be completely gone away from Twitter but it wouldn't be the same +_+

Is it possible that her staff saw her doing this and intercepted her Twitter before things got too crazy? Somehow the tweet number is magically closer to the original 16k she had compared to 10 minutes ago.
