it's just talking about whether or not the hair syle reflects the relationship between ayu and nagase. She states that it's because her hair was worn out and damaged, as well as just for an image change. mental state is just about how she was feeling, and therefore decided to cut her hair.

Also, it seems that she cut her hair for the 1st time in 2 years. Whether that means that it's shorter than what we've seen in performances like the FNS event or not, I do hope that there'll be some pics of her new hairstyle soon :)

wow, first time in two years?? such a long time... I guess a lot of the times I've seen her then was her wearing hair extensions, because I swear her hair was shorter during her first live performance of No way to say than it was in like April when she had that really long hair with pink highlights.

Also, I agree that Ayu's hair was worn out and damaged. It looked really bad in some pictures =/ but now she looks sooo cute <3

yup... ayu's hair was dyed for many times, I think... esp. 2000-2001.

also note that she wears alota wigs during her performances, but the current hairstyle i think is the best of her career
