What is Ayu wearing during concerts on her ears?
 

You know on every single concert she wears a earphone-like thingy on her ears all the time, but when she wants to talk, she would take them off. Especially everytime when she sings Who.. and start talking she would take them off.

i think its like...ppl giving her cues or lyrics just in case she forgets or something

The earphone helps Ayu hear her singing and the music more clearly. A singer or musician at a concert like that can't always hear the music clearly from different places on the stage, or over the noise of the crowd and effects.

I wonder if she might get direction from her staff through them as well.

Most artists uses them, and you see them adjusting it all the time...it's true it can be hard to hear the music when you're right next to a band, it is extremely loud o_o"

I've always imagined it to be like what secret agents wear when getting orders :laugh

But yea... I'm sure she can't hear things when there's thousands of fans screaming and such, so it's just so she knows what to sing/do :)

The band and singers usually have reflectors to help them distinguish their own sounds. However the reflectors do not move and they are usually used for bands in which they don't usually change positions. As ayu has too walk all over it is more obvious that her "reflector" will be some kind of portable earphone ;)

it's to help her hear herself, like everyone already said. To make sure Ayu doesn't sound bad...we wouldn't want that happenning.

It definately is so she can hear her own singing. I've helped with sound setup before for bands performing, and as mentioned, the "reflectors" is correct. Ayu generally has huge stages, moving around so much and in many cases, floating around where she's not even on the stage. ^_^

Not only is it to hear herself, it's to protect her ears. Concerts are so loud, she might go deaf without them. O_o

OMG....I was thought that the song that Ayu sings plays through her earphones so she can get on cue and get into her song more.

LOL.....I was so off!

But good....now I know what her earphones are for.

I always thought it was to protect her ears from the loud noise x.x
