Connected video

I love this PV. I heard not so long ago that the whole anime presented here is part of another anime or a game (I don't remember really). Anyone knows what is the whole PV based on?

Or at least can anyone tell me more about the interpretation of the video?

Ah..the PV isn't concerned with any anime.
The director is a member of Kamikazedouga.
Mainly,they(about 10) have made promotion video for music and game.
