Rainbow CD

I was looking around on yesasia at Ayu's CDs, just making a list of the CDs I don't have and I don't have Rainbow *tear falls from right eye* I have a question... There is a Japan version that is a DVD audio and just a normal Japan version and then the overseas version. Well I noticed that looking at the info, the DVD audio has 16 tracks while the rest don't but it is completely too expensive so I was wondering, what is the difference between the regular Japan version and the Japan DVD audio version? Any help would be appreciated.

If you're looking for enhanced quality and 5.1 surround sound, then DVD-Audio discs may be what you're looking for. I believe most DVD players can play the discs, but you'd have to be careful about buying it in case your DVD player doesn't play them.

A note on DVD-audio discs, if you have not heard one before
The difference between normal audio CD and a DVD-audio one is: Normally you have two speakers - left and right, DVD system has five, plus a sub-woofer. Normal CD played in the DVD player will of course sound better than, say, in a typical car audio system - but the sound is still split only 'two ways' - left and right. DVD-audio utilises all five speakers, so the sound is split 'five-ways' (plus the sub-woofer, of course) and the results are:
(a) Significatly improved sound quality, which is reflected in the price, and
(b) Additional data security - it would be pretty hard to 'rip' the songs from a DVD disc and size of files will be MUCH bigger, making illegal file swapping very difficult.

No, they don't. Not only is the data on them different (often multichannel, and sampled at 24bit @ 96KHz, rather than CD's 16bit @ 44KHz) but it's stored differently too (more densly, and sometimes in two layers).

The song "RAINBOW" is on the DVD version of the album. That's why it has one more track than the CDs.
