What ourselves, Because of you and GAME have in common.....
 

....it's not the fact they are ROCK songs because the day ourselves turn into a rock song, I will also consider BoA's "Rock with you" song as being Rock and that would be plainly killing the genre called rock because those are not rock ("Rock with you" at least has the guitars which turns it into a pseudo-rock excuse bubblegum POP. ourselves only has the POP beats, doesn't even have a guitar so it will never be a rock).
However those 3 songs have something in common which is why people like to compare them so much. They all have a dark theme with dark PVs and stuff. :yes But please, ourselves WILL never be a rock song :P O_o;;;;

Ourselves isn't rock... But I guess people relate the 3 together because they all have a Gothic/Scary PV...

But I bet if Ourselves didn't have a PV, people would not be comparing them...

To me all Ayu songs are "pop". I can't discriminate between genres. :yconfused

I think that Avex may try to transition Ayu into having a "rock" sound to extend her career, since BOY was a hit, and they're trying another "rockish" sounding song with "Game".

Well I think they did a good job with GAME being a rock sounding song!! It also has that Pop music beat to it too.

People just like comparing them because they've got similarly dark PVs, and I agree with everything Doctor Impact said.

It just stands out to people since they think rock has to be loud with fast guitars. Good rock songs like "I am..." and "Memorial address" is so neglected and over-shadowed by BoY to alot of fans... -___-"

I know ourselves isn't rock, but it does have at least one guitar playing as far as the music is concerned.

Music is always being mixed, isnt rock pop the trend in america? or was it punk pop? =\ music is music, as long as its appleasing to your ears, then its worth listening to so It dosent matter what the songs are in (as in genre).

well it feels abit rock to me..even tho theres no guitars.. there still that heavy drum.. not as heavy..more like a mix of rockish with pop.. and i dont think i am.. or memorial adress were better than because of you.. to me thats one of the best songs on that album..

for me ourselves had much oriental styling... first thought... Ayu's dark PV's are great, but still ourselves PV is different from BoY and GAME... second thought... Rock? don't think so, maybe pop-rock, or what the hell you sey it... third thought... and the last... (in hear:)
