EXILE did better than Ayu? Oh boy. I wonder what Avex makes of that. >.<

And I don't see the fairness in Utada selling that many of her album when it's just a best album and there's absolutely nothing new on it. :dead2

Ah, well, Memorial address was only a mini-album after all. Pretty darn good for an album that's smaller than some of her old singles. :laugh

Thanks for the info. :)

Ayu beat CHEMISTRY with a mini album? At LAST!!!!!!

And about EXILE...Ah c'mon it was a full album and you know how japanese freak out for boy bands so.....

luminaire 4th September 2004 03:57 PM

It's really not funny when Hikki's album beat the next, Misuchiru's "SHIFUKU NO OTO" by like nearly twice their sales. I'm a Hikki fan and all, sure, but this is somewhat disturbing.
Anyway, I thought Mai-K hit a million with "Wish You The Best" already? Hmm.
Congrats to Ayu breaking the 1-million mark, although the distance between her sales and that 1-million line aren't as great as they used to be. Hopefully the fact that this is a mini-album explains it. And why is BoA there? Seriously - why aren't better people like ELT and LOVE PSYCHEDELICO in there? Sheesh.

Memorial address was released in 2003, so not all sales are counted I think, that's why she's not so high. But it's also a mini-album that beats so many albums =)

ImpactBreaker 4th September 2004 04:00 PM

I aloso find that Hikki sales for the singles collection very disturbing. is it really real?

utada got 1 M more sales!!!!!!!! unbelievable the disparity cant be that great!!!! what makes people sooooo drawn to utada and it isnt even an album just a compilation??????? maybe all of her songs have subliminal messages, hypnotizing all its listeners to buy her cd.:D

P.S. her exodus album is bad X 100 = awful + horrendous

Very pissed to see Hikaru get 1st and beating 2nd place by 1 million sales. So overrated. -.-
