help... [AHS images not displaying]
 

um..im sorry, i don't know where this post would belong. to the mods: please move this wherever you see fit. :) as of right now...i don't see any pictures!! all i see are empty boxes with red x marks! O_O what's wrong here? the banner, the smilies, everything just comes up either blank or a box with a red x. help... >.<

Go in to your User CP, and go to "edit Options", see if you have it set to show avatars, sigs, and images.
Otherwise, you could be downloading too many things at once, loading too many sites at once, or your connection is acting strange. Close some downloads or reconnect.

When I had my previous PC setup, I used to have a problem with certain images showing up as Xs, even when the images were working. It happened because I had too many things running, so your best bet is to close things you don't need open like Naja said. Also, clear your internet cache (Tools > Internet Options) just to be safe.

actually this is happening ot me too and it has never happened before...it seems like any pictures associated with the board aren't showing up. but people who have sigs and whatnot i can see those....

I'm having the same problem too - and earlier when I logged in everything was normal...

oh hey! if u log in thru ahsforum.com (instead of the other link) everything seems to work! :D at least it did for me 0_o

im having the exact same problem right now. its not just sigs and avas. all the emoticons and stuff are all not showing, and ppl with sigs on their own servers and stuff, they are showing, just not the ahs stuff

Are you using http://www.ahsforum.com/forum ?

If even things like the Reply buttons and banner aren't appearing, maybe you have some popup/advert-blocking software running which has been set to block all images from ahsforum.com.

eg If you were using Firefox (which you aren't): Under Tools-Options-WebFeatures-LoadImages-Permissions, highlight "ahsforum.com - block" and click Remove.

yep, started yesterday, but its no big deal to me. (and yes im using ahsforum.com like always)
