Yep, it's a cover. The original was called "Kumo" I think, by LOVER SOUND TRACK. I heard a short clip of the original...but I forgot where. I think Ayu's version is "take 2" in reference to it being a cover, however I am not certain.

yep.. i have the little sample..... i had no idea it was a cover! i thought they made a cover out of Ayu's song... and yep the song is called KUMO

In a sense you can call it a cover. As was stated b4, only the music's been used.
I have the full version of "Kumo" if you want to try it out.

It's somewhat of a cover, but the lyrics are ORIGINAL by Hamasaki, Ayumi. Just the composition is reused like leaf said. Oh and leaf please do post 'Kumo'.

i don't think so.. it just sound pop-ish, but is not a bad version at all.

I think I might like the original better.

It's not a cover. The composition was made for the 2 songs.

This is not a cover... a cover requires one to take a complete other song and re-sing it. Calling "Memorial Address" a cover is like calling "Ice Ice Baby" a cover - except, Ayu worked with the song writer... so it's legit.
