Yep, Team Ayu is the official fanclub. Although expensive, members get the best seats at concerts, and she's even held one or two small concerts just for them. The members-only website also provides news before anywhere else gets it too.

"matt" is the only person here that I know is a member.

I don't know why they make it Japanese-residents only. I guess the mailings they post you would cost more to send overseas but why not just have a slightly higher "international" membership price?

yea that's true. its the same with the avex point club. so i put in my friend's address who lives in japan hehehe with her permission of course. is anyone in the point club?

matt 22nd October 2004 12:40 PM

Yeah, I'm in TeamAyu and the Avex Point club.

As already said, there is a website (depepdning on which membership packae you choose) which has exclusive photos, news, messages from Ayu and other things. Fanclub members also have competitions to win tickets to see MusicStation and win products. Also advance concert ticket.

Something to remember; foreign fans are only a tiny tiny percentage of fans, so really we aren't worth the money to spend on creating English websites, organisin English mailings etc. Avex's focus is on Japan, where 99% of the fans are. It sounds harsh, but look at it from their view.
