Opinion on MY STORY as a whole..
 

Now that I've heard the entire album, it's safe to say that I really love this new album. I mean, if there were no previous "awesome albums" to compare this to, then how would it rank with people? I believe that its filled with its good songs and its absolute "wtf" songs, but altogether they just give off this feeling of Ayu's pride in her music and yaah. Maybe we don't give Ayu enough credit.. we shouldn't take our Ayu for granted <3

i actually like it as a whole.

it has a lot of variety than i expected, with rock, fun//cheery songs, and ballads. It has its ups and downs, but it's very well put together. I don't think this will be my favorite album [ it will always be Duty or I Am... ], it will certainly be on the top of my list.

i really liked winding road, HOPE or PAIN, walking proud, and About You.

i definitely in love with this album..i think it's her second best album after i am....i really proud of her..she never dissapointed me...well actually a bit..in RAINBOW..

I think I still need to digest it. When I've listened to the whole album at least twice (CD Quality), I'll give an answer.

One thing I'm sure of is that I'll still like I am... and Duty more too.

I agree that I like pre-RAINBOW albums more than this, but its still rather nice. Although I'm not partial to the theme she used for it, there are a few good gems that make it rise above. The parts are more than the whole I guess.

I think this is in tie with I am.. :) There's so much variety and the songs are nicely composed. The filter sound could dissapear so I can hear ayu's voice better...but they're all so nice! I think ayu put alot of heart into this album. And I'm sure the lyrics (when translated) will be really beautiful as well. ^_^

this album is definitely one of my favorite albums..having heard just two songs [although i wanted to wait for the album, it was just too tempting :D ] i immediately fell in love with them. i have high hopes for My Story. :)

Overall the album is OK IMO, Duty, I am..., LOVEppears, Rainbow, Memorial Address, are all better..the songs in My Story are just NOT catchy..the only songs I enjoy are probably HOPE or Pain, Game, Inspire, Moments, Kaleidoscope, and About You..not bad overall I guess but i still like her old stuffs better.

I love it very much. Lots of songs that caught my attention.
The only thing I don't like very much are the PVs, but I haven't seen two, so I'm gonna wait more to say sth about them.

I really really like this new album... although i do wish there would be more new PVs... but meh.. 3 is good enough for me i guess :D i think this is my favorite album yet XD

At first I couldn't stand this album, but now I think it is a really great album, the only albums that weren't as good as this one, I would say now, would be A Song for XX and Duty (I used to love Duty, now I don't like it as much). This album is full of beautiful ballads, I simply love CAROLS (yes folks, I love this song now!) Moments, walking proud, winding road (great composition Ayu!). This album has a ton of great rock songs as well, including GAME, About you, Inspire, and my name's WOMEN. A great combo of pop, HONEY, HAPPY ENDING, and Catcher In The Light. I have a very positive attitude towards this album now, sure the album is no "I am..." but none of her stuff has been since the release of that album. I would say that this is her best album since "I am..." let's look at Ayu's new stuff with a positive attitude, cuz let's face it, in the end all of us are (close, but not quite) obsessed enough with Ayu that we are all going to fall in love with each and every song sooner or later. I can't wait to listen to the CD & DVD quality!!

Humming 7/4 (sorry, worst track on the album... doesn't deserve a PV, I wish "winding road" would of had a PV instead)
WONDERLAND (hehe... not even going to ask...)
Inspire (can get boring over time)
Replace (it just... doesn't have enough passion in it, it was boring)

i don like Duty or I am either... yea they r good but b4 tis i loved MA.. i think it is the best but now... MY STORY is definately the best.. mayb i just like more rock songs and rockish ballads... rather than "end of the world" "far away" or something...

Agreed 100%! I think she really put her heart into this album for some reason, and I think that alone deserves a ton of credit!

I am absolutely loving this album! I'm not quite sure where it falls in my top seven list though because that's always changing depending on my mood. I remember when someone asked Ayu what her favorite song was, she responded that it's usually her latest release because she feels more connected to it. I would probably have to say the same. As of right now, MY STORY is up there.
