Kelly Chen's dress same as Ayu?
 

Yesterday online suspicion arose about Kelly's flower made dress being an imitation of Ayumi Hamasaki's dress during the performance of FORGIVENESS on her "A MUSUEM" Concert 2003 last year. Kelly's manager Claudie Chung Chun said, "Kelly costume are the designs of image consultant Yee Chung Man after he read a few international magazine. I know that the Kelly's big bow is inspired by one magazine and the flower dress is from another. I haven't seen Ayumi Hamasaki in this dress and believe that Yee Man Chung wouldn't copy her."

"INTERNATIONAL" magazine? Uh. .. . Yea, of course then it WOULDN'T ever be Ayu's dress. It is very strikingly similar.

And as for Ayu's dress haven't been seen, either he is really slow...or something because ... It's a very popular looking dress.

I don't care, I like her dress better. The flowers look better, but I don't like the bow... :P

Anyway, Ayu should take it as a compliment, that someone admires her. This is like the Jolin thing all over again.. :rolleyes

Well I think someone should post an image of Ayu wearing the dress for us to make a comparison since not everyone here has seen Ayu in that dress.

I wouldn't mind if the dresses were the same which I doubt by the way. I just want to say that Kelly is looking amazing in that outfit, and that she absolutely has no need of imitating ayu so she would never do anything like that because she's already a respected artist.

actually, if you say kelly copied ayu, then i would say ayu copied the hong kong singer Amanda Lee.

Amanda released an EP called 'The Revenge of the Princess' back in 1996, and in the booklet, there is a pic of Amanda in a dress full of flowers.

Now the main problem here is that her desinger dosen't know about Ayu's dress, being ayu an extremely well-known artist by her music and FASHION, wich BTW even if it's not the same color of flower or flower, it is! the same idea.

Get over it everyone...all artists have 'copied', probably not out of their own will, at one point or another. Ayu herself is no exception.
