Ayumi's Next 'Story' Music Video?

The past few music videos, especially all 7 of the My Story ones are not 'Storized' I want to see videos like 'For my Dear' and 'Voyage' even something like 'Because of You' because they all have a story...not some rave or standing and singing...If it's me or you there just being cheap :thud

So do you think her next music video will have a story and not rave or etc? I'd actually really enjoy that...I mean Walking Proud is okay...because it really had no story just people singing and at the end was probably the story...Anyway Anyone know? I mean not to be rude but her past 7 videos aren't so great... :innocent

I think walking proud and Moments had a story.

Personally, i don't care much if theres a story or not. I only download them, watch them once and delete them anyway.

I wish she would make a PV as good as 'Free & Easy' again, or even better, 'Endless Sorrow'...

'Moments' and 'walking proud' both had weak 'stories' IMO...

walking proud 12th January 2005 01:09 AM

Yeah I just like videos. *Shrug* I like eye candy

Hopefully my name's WOMEN video (if there will be one) will have a story.

i think the 2004 pvs has a very "implicite" meaning... ^^ but i think it would be good... but i dont like if the story make the pvs way too long than the song... ^^ an another trilogy pvs would be great

extepan 12th January 2005 05:49 PM

the my story pv stories are not as clear as the previous pvs. i like the i am ones the best

hana_sanctuary 14th January 2005 09:10 AM

Story PVs are always good... I was surprised none of the MY STORY PVs had a story o.O they would have linked the CD tracks pretty good.

I think the most story-ish would probably have been INSPIRE.

But meh. I still liked the PVs--- but story ones are always nice.

extepan 14th January 2005 11:29 AM

exactly!! none of the my story pvs actually have a story to follow. not an easily undertandable story like 'dearest' anyway. nor are they as eye catching as 'evolution' or 'kanariya'. ok, walking proud tried to be kanariya but it doesnt really match the success of kanariya. in kanariya, ayu is so seductive. in walking proud, the jewels on her body hasnt got the same effect.

lolo66 14th January 2005 04:31 PM

hmm.. I never link the walking proud pv with the kanariya pv...

I love the PVs with a plot, but few do... so I hope that she will have a plot PV next time!

I don't know! I wanna download to see the PV but i only watch them once.

ruixiong89 15th January 2005 05:04 AM

Haha, yup, I sure hope Ayu does a few more of those "Story" PVs! I mean it would really be GREAT! I'm still ok with the "rave" kind of PVs; they convey emotions, not through a progression of events.

mimika 1st April 2005 08:51 AM

i actually like her past PV's better....i think it had more meaning then than now

xX_gWeN_Xx 1st April 2005 11:03 AM

What about Inspire? I really like lots lots lots! :)

Tasked 1st April 2005 11:37 AM

OF COURSE they were cheap! Can you blame her? For the inspire/moments singles had much more time to create the PVs. She even went to Los Angeles for the Inspire one. And these video's have meanings. But the 3 new PVs on MY STORY (about you / walking proud / humming 7/4) we're created in 3 days total! She was also working on recording alot of songs, preparing for her tours etc etc..

LeButler 1st April 2005 02:22 PM

^ Yeah you're right. She's the kind of artist you'd expect to have brilliant PVs: highly visual (photogenic/fashion), capable (talent) and funding is no problem. Yet Ayumi PVs are often rather generic or disappointing because they're rushed and lack imagination. Maybe she just needs to find a great music video director who'll set her right.

Anyway, most songs tell a story, so PVs should too in my view.
Although she's not done many public appearences this year, she's been quite busy with the 2005 Tour so I don't expect the PVs to greatly improve anytime soon.

You know, I posted this back in January, and I thought it was lost because it wouldn't show up on my browser, and wierdly here it is! Okay, now my opinion on everything I've read...

From the looks of it, my name's WOMEN is another sexy video, actually it's almost her first from the pictures, refer to this post: http://ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28086

and from the likes of it, it looks really great that is it LOVE? looks almost as though it has a story! I hope to see this one...

The funny thing is, her cd was MY STORY...yet none of the pvs have a story -__- INSPIRE had something, CAROLS *man...I"d just prefer it if she was swinging the whole time, but nooooo mother nature had to blow the winds, oh well...why didn't they reshoot?* Moments - this was probably the closest to a story...

and game has nothing to do with the song -_- a dance, I can understand humming 7/4, it's a rave...everybody jump every body jump!

Hugo_Perry 1st April 2005 05:27 PM

Ahhh... I see how much everyone really miss her old style of PV, but please dun't worry that Hamasaki Ayumi nut gonna do it anymore because the PV of "is this LOVE?" will have a story on itself... :D

Qt Mashi 2nd April 2005 01:14 AM

is this LOVE reminds me of moments~
moments was interesting but when i read the plot it was even more interesting :yes
