she does hella commercials, and holds a lot of lives/tv appearances. i'd say she's pretty popular. i heard she's not that popular in korea though

She's big in Korea

She's pretty famous over there. She sells decently and people know who she is. She does promotional work for companies on various products.

i guess that not everyone likes her...as the people i asked don't.

When I was in Japan, on New Year's Eve I was talking to these guys about music. They said BoA isn't really that popular. I mean she's not at the bottom by any means, but she's really fading.

She's very famous but not no. 1, e hyori is no.1 for the female stars there, but in korea its mostly about the boybands, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Shinhwa,
Fly to the Sky, GOD and b4 with HOT.

at times she can be really popular (ie: w/DO THE MOTION or w/VALENTI) but at times she can be okay (ie: make a secret) so i picked 'popular'
