Those might have been made specially for the shoot, or else they could be more recent merchandise. I suppose the best bet is to try ebay - some things like that might only be for sale in certain countries, so it might be better to look at auction sites for things like that, where the seller will ship internationally.

whats special about JEM? is it a very famous brand or something?

The only place you can get JEM stuff right now is Hot Topic... I've seen alot of ayu's fashions at places like that here in SoCal.
JEM, btw, is a cartoon that premiered in 1986 about a girl named Jerrica who by day is a secretary and by night is a rock star with her sisters. But they're all holographic projections, and their identities are hidden. (Jerrica's boyfriend thinks he's cheating on her with Jem, he doesn't know they're the same person.) It was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid. I had all the dolls and everything. Right now I've got a few tees and a sweatshirt from Hot Topic, so maybe that's where the shoes are from. On the other hand, if it's from when the series was popular, you'd probably have to ebay for them. I remember seeing a Jem doll collector's site, but I can't remember where it is... but such sites are out there, maybe you can ask one of those webmasters if they know anything about the shoes. |
i love jem soooo much ... but yeah thanks for replyin' .... well i tried ebay ... it didnt work! oh well

I tried a search for these shoes and it's possible that the company that made them is based in Japan (80's trends seem to linger in Japan, for example leg warmers). Anyways, if you find the shoes, tell me cuz I am a HUGE Jem fan. 80's kids unite! LOL
