i sang the trilogy and M during a karaoke reunion with my ex colleagues. i am so happy :)

even though i thought i knew the songs well, i still had a bit of difficulty in pronouncing japanese. and there are syllables which i remembered wrong and i only realised it after i read the karaoke captions.

it was a lot of fun.

have you people sang ayu's songs in a karaoke place before?

I haven't ever sung Ayu at a karaoke bar... but I would imagine that it'd have been a lot of fun. ^v^ Maybe someday~~!

Hmm, looks like they have the furigana above the kanji, neh? If so, I'd be happy to march over to this Japanese karaoke place in Kent and sing to one of Ayu's songs :P

In Japantown, I sung with my sister on the karaoke machine. :D We sung a Song for XX and No Way to Say. It was a remix and the words were all in korean. -__- But we memorized most of the lyrics so we did alright. It was ooper fun!! Lots of people stopped by to look at us sing. Quite embarassing.. But very fun! hehe.. Here's a piccie of me and my sister singing. =P

Kingssd3 4th February 2005 04:14 AM

dang yours had furigana above the kanji?! i had to struggle.... try to karaoke ayu while using a kanji dictionary lol its crazy

matt 4th February 2005 05:19 AM

I do it regularly. Of course, being in Japan is very convenient for that. I sing most songs, favourites being:

appears
Angels Song
Dearest
Carols
No Way to Say
Moments
Humming 7/4

It's a lot of fun :)
