[Old thread][2002]Ayu - Connected vinyl

didnt really see anyone post such info, so i might as well just copy wat i've posted at ayunite-sg to here

"anyway, tracklist:
AYU - Connected (DRIZ3001)
A1 PUSH'S Instrumental Dub Remix
A2 Ferry Corsten 12" Extended Mix
B1 Ferry Corsten 12" Instrumental Mix
B2 PUSH Club Mix

this one releases under drizzly records
there will be an upcoming one release under lightning records (LR2002025)
instead of ferry's 12" instrumental, there will be a Ambient Mix"

Thanks for the info!!!
Much appreciated :)

Now only if they would release it on CD.
I suppose I should contact Antler-Subway or DOS or Die to get them to release it :curse

nmskalmn 21st November 2002 01:29 PM

Thanks for the info. Would you have any idea what the chances of these tracks turning up on CD are?

Biscuitgirl 21st November 2002 04:18 PM

Has anyone heard the push club mix? Is it any good? I wish they would quit making these analogs. Most peeps, like me, don't have a record player!

Love ~since 1999~ 21st November 2002 04:20 PM

Yeah it would be grat if released as a CD.
Tank you for the info ;)

Takke 21st November 2002 04:22 PM

Yah, Takke! Post it! :D

N8 Dawg 21st November 2002 06:53 PM

...but analogs are cool! they sound so much better than CDs, though they probably don't last as long. plus you can do cool scratchy stuff a la DJing. if i knew how to hook up the old record player back at home, i'd mess around with it. :)

trainspotter01 21st November 2002 07:30 PM

Takke_Ayumi: yeah...from clubayu.....they used the pic i got....hehehe

nope there wont be any cd release
but isnt this cool?

N8 Dawg: totally agree w/ u man........vinyl does sound a lot better

Takke 21st November 2002 07:51 PM

i cant upload the song here..but add me on icq or msn so i can send you the song!

Biscuitgirl 21st November 2002 07:55 PM

Well, I guess vinyls sound better, but they pop and scratch, you know? And they are so huge! Can't play them in the car, or go jogging with them. Can you imagine? Going jogging with a huge record player hanging off your hip? :roflmao

trainspotter01 21st November 2002 08:07 PM

biscuitgirl: coz that's not the purpose of vinyl....vinyl's for djing................

nmskalmn 21st November 2002 10:27 PM

Omega uploaded the Push Club Mix to a yahoo briefcase. Please refer to this thread:

http://www.ahsforum.org/forum/showth...&threadid=2643

trainspotter: Why do they only release it on vinyl? Wouldn't they make more money by releasing a CD also?

trainspotter01 22nd November 2002 01:27 AM

nmskalmn: well djs r very unlikely to scratch CD on their live set
so the vinyl is actually aiming to the dance/djing/trance/watever market, not for ayu fans

N8 Dawg 22nd November 2002 07:29 AM

*recalls scene in Austin Powers where Austin plays cd on record player*
*laughs heartily*

Fly HigH 22nd November 2002 08:36 AM

hmm....well...hope they can record in CD also...
what is the aim of making those vinyl since a majority of the population is no longer using it....
When i was young, my dad had one....but threw it away when CD players was invented.:(
