the best way to buy j-pop cd's
I live in Europe and here is very expensive to buy any j-pop cd, cause almost no one (in czech republic) know what "j-pop" means. "Ayumi Hamasaki." "Kawasaki? You mean that motorcycle?" And Gackt? No more words. In my place paypal isn't allowed. I really want to buy some Gackt CDs! Is here anyone who knows good page with j-pop stuff? I mean cheapest. But with some "quarantee" of original stuff. (i know yesasia.com but it seems to be very expensive) I've heard that in Germany is possible to buy some j-pop! Is here any German who knows something about this?
Thank you all for your help! I will really appreciate any info! |
If you can't use paypal, that rules out ebay, which is probably the cheapest place to find cds in good condition. Your best bet to buy any jpop cds is Yesasia =\ although if you go to www.animetoxic.com and search for gackt, they have a few of his cds for 8$ a piece. And the store is reliable--i bought some anime goodies from there before.

Ah, yesasia is insane with their prices sometimes.. I don't think they even convert the yen prices into American dollars correctly or anything o_o

A new Japanese CD costs 3000 yen (22 euro) and a new single costs 1173 yen (8.6 euro). You can't expect to pay less than that for new stuff.
You can get J-imports from amazon.de but they are probably more expensive than yesasia. amazon.co.jp ships to Europe and the total would likely be less if you pick the cheapest shipping option. |
ebay.com always works well for me. But you gotta know the real stuff from bootlegs.

find a penpal from hong kong to get you the overseas version cds :)
