Title: Suzuki Ami spends over 100m yen on promotion

Text: suzuki ami finally nullified the contract between sony. she joined avex, and the first single 'delightful' is released on 24th of march. Since avex is very serious about the comeback, there will be a photo album, picture collection and a dvd etc released together with the new single. this week, ami will be in many magazines as the cover girl.

it is said that avex spent over 100m yen to promote ami, hoping to resurrect her failing career avex plans to promote ami to the point of replacing ayu as the pop queen. the media in japan criticised the plan of resurrecting ami's career as unrealistic, and it is speculated that ayu will not like ami either.

Added: the caption next to the pic says 'who would have thought, when ami was still famous, it would be ayu who became the superstar?'

i do agree with the japan media but the part about ayu not liking ami may not be correct as in.. i dont think ayu is the type who will go around disliking people.. =\ and in the first place.. i myself also kinda dislike ami a lot yeah way back when she is around with sony that time.. to me she is only that of cute girls around.. i heard her songs and think she cant really sing :P but to any ami-fans.. no offence to u all.. my honest opinions only =) but one thing i do trust is avex magical promotions spells... i think they do have extremely intelligent way to promote her... ;)

edit: oh yah forgot to say thanx for the infor.. at least we now know a bit what is going on in avex...

why would Ayu care about Ami? Ayu has been a jpop powerhouse for 7 years, it's not like she has to prove herself or really get concerned with competition.

I also think the fact that ayu'll dislike Ami is totally wrong. She has to be satisfied with what she's and when Ami maybe get a bit popular because of Avex , she don't have to be angry or anything else.

Hmm this might be a coincidence. On Ami's 're-debut' single, there's a song called 'About You...'

Who's Ami? I have never really heard of her I don't think. Do her and Ayu have some sort of history together or not?

Ami Suzuki, was pretty famous back in the late 90's. Her singles and albums were hits, she had a radio show, a role in a TV drama and she endorsed a few products as well.

From what I can remember, she and Ayu began their careers almost at the same time.

Anyway, in 2001, she disappeared from the showbusiness scene right after her parents sued her management/production company, AG Communication, after learning of AG Communication's president Eiji Yamada's conviction of tax-evasion charges.

u guys stop being immature.. Yes i know Ami on a basis lol. She is not replacing Ayu lol Ayu is very happy to be among ami suzuki they are friends after all and it is going to bring Japan to their knees with these two power houses under AVEX. Avex basically has a lock hold on the music industry. It is not competition it is basically the two working together both will help each other further in their career!!! i promise it is going to be great the chinese press sucks!!!

I think those editors can easily say anyone can replace ayu coz they are not fans themselves. I mean, another person can become more popular than ayu but that doesn't mean she's gonna replace ayu coz the fans still love and support ayu for what she is in their hearts.

chinese articles are rarely reliable lol. i neva relli lyked Ami and her joining avex is actually gonna be some sort of bakup when Ayu's CDs arent selling well, aint famous anymore or retiring
