thanx for the review. although some of it was kinda rude about what they said about her though :/

Cyria 6th May 2005 07:39 PM

Thanks for the link! Though didn't agree with all the points in the review it was still an interesting read.

I didn't like CAROLS nearly as much as this guy did but I am glad he pointed out that the contruction of the album was really flawless. It's the best track order of any of her albums so far, I think.

I don't think he was rude at all, he actually seemed to be mourning where ayu's career was going. I hate to say it but even fans can see that she's not releasing as much, she's only got one really huge company that she's the spokesperson for now and those CMs aren't coming out as fast as when she was with Visee, Tuka, and Morinaga all at once... I mean she really did say "I am a product", that wasn't exaggerated at all.

This was a wonderful review of the album and of ayu as a songwriter in general.

Thanks. It was alright...but a little too biased for my opinion. And I would definitely say this is NOT one of the strongest albums of her career.

stevievox 6th May 2005 08:44 PM

Great review! Thanks for sharing.

Larisa-chan 6th May 2005 09:05 PM

It's not much of a review on her album... but more on her life. Thanks for the link, though.

norain 6th May 2005 09:16 PM

what the forum people say is rude

Raleigh 6th May 2005 09:23 PM

Interesting outlook. Thanks

Interesting..
Is it true that Ayu has had lots of work one on her face?

Coelacanth 6th May 2005 10:13 PM

"extensive work done on her entire face..." Has he ever heard of Michael Jackson? Getting what Ayu got done is nothing compared to what some celebrities get done nowadays, but he's probably too busy watching Gundam to realize that... The only part of her face I can definitely see was done, is her nose. Everytime Ayu changes a hairstyle and wears a different tone of makeup, people automatically think she has has plastic surgery...

Seriously! But the reading was very interesting and 'MY STORY' is without a DOUBT one of her strongest IMO.

thanks for the link :thanks:
but i never knew that her child hood was like that. That was to sad. :weep

~*Mabushii*~ 6th May 2005 11:30 PM

See I always thought Ayu just changed her makeup to look different, but I didn't think she had alot of cosmetic work done.. as to me she never looks THAT different unless you count her ever changing hair and nails. ^_^

"Hamasaki handles rock like an edgier, less innocent version of Puffy AmiYumi"
