How often is a kareoke contest?
 

^^- I was wondering...cuz I've neve rbeen in one before...I think is would be fun to enter :)

AHS has only held 2 karaoke contests: the first started in November 2003, the second in April 2005. We will most likely do it again, but I have no idea when.

karaoke is definitely one of the most popular contests, and the other is artwork, so holding another one of these is not unlikely.!

What program do you use for karaoke on the computer ?

You just need music, a mic, and Sound Recorder :) or some other sound recording program on your comp and then....SIIING ^^-

Actually, it would be best to have Instrumentals of the song you want to sing, the lyrics, a good knowledge of how the lyrics go to the song.. a mic, and some sound recording program.. ^_^
As of yet.. I haven't been able to find a good enough program to let me time the lyrics to the music.. which I've been trying to do.. but have been unable to.. :(

I just use the basic Sound Recorder that comes with Windows to record.. and Winamp to play the instrumentals

AUDACITY is the best program to use for recording. Its the easiest way to sync the Bg music to your own voice.

u1ra0ay2u Audacity is free. Go to www.download.com. Keyword search audacity. It's a nice simple program to use.
