im doin project on ayumi and really need help on findin the names of her family for a family tree, if u can help please post here or msg me any info on her family names etc, thanks

I don't know very much about it, but I heard she grew up without her father.

She's very secretive about her family life, it's not really worth pursuing her family tree.

Don't think you'll find much.

Try some other celebrities.

All people know about is Ayu and her mother, which is very little. I don't think she has siblings,a dn her father left when she was little, so there's not very much information out there. Sorry.

And the only other [major] influence was her grandmother - especially during "poker face".

Ayumi found out that her Grandmother passed away, right before she went in the room to record the song. The song Who is dedicated to her Grandmother.

As for her family tree - that's an odd project to do and there isn't much info out there anyways.

I read somewhere last time that the song Memorial Address was written for her father who has passed away. Not sure whether is it true or not but i read the translation and i found quite a lot of sense in it if its really written for the father, especially based on the fact that he left her at a young age.

i dotn know anything about her too.... atleast with namie i get to see a photo of her mom..with ayu nothing

There is no confirmation on her father about anything except for the fact that he left when he was a child. Outside of that, it's all speculation. If Ayumi doesn't come out and say anything about it, it's probably best to leave it alone because it's very personal.

Yes, like everyone else had said, you probably won't find much about her family. All I know is that she grew up with her mother and grandmother (<- passed away), she has no siblings, and is an only child. I think she tried to keep her personal life, well, personal, and doesn't really share much about it.

Memorial Address is a cover of an older song is it not? I'm almost sure it was.

All I know is what everyone else has said, and that her mother owns an antique shop somewhere in Tokyo.

Memorial address *is* sort of a cover. The composer used the same melody as the song "kumo" from ....I forgot. But there isn't any official confirmation on who that song is dedicated to.
