[2005] Holy Concerts, Batman!
 

Yippee! I'm going to a ton of concerts in the next few months and I'm like wicked excited :D

I've got tickets for:

Bloc Party - September 13, 2005 at the Royal Oak Music Theatre
Interpol - September 25, 2005 at the Michigan State Theatre
The White Stripes - October 1, 2005 at the Masonic Temple (I used to act there!)

and I'm thinking of going to:

Sufjan Stevens - September 11, 2005 at the Majestic Theatre

OMG! YAY!! :D

I'm really bummed that Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, and Franz Ferdinand aren't coming by in their latest tours. I saw Franz live and they were amazing! I can't wait to see them again. I had the chance to see the Decemberists a few months ago, but I didn't go and I totally regret that ;( And Arcade Fire? They are apparently AMAZING live, which comes as no surprise to anyone who listens to them. I will see one of their shows someday.

Anyone else catching any concerts in the near future?

Haha I love the thread title. You're going to some good concerts! Me, I got to see Stereophonics, Maroon 5, and Motely Crue recently, and in September I get to see Oasis... I'm soooooooooo excited!!!

I myself was initially hoping to go this Dutch festival called Lowlands, but I'm broke so I gotta stay home. The line-up, however, features, among others:

The Arcade Fire
Franz Ferdinand
Death From Above 1979
The Polyphonic Spree
Queens Of The Stone Age

etcetera.

I probably will go see Sufjan, I just have to get back in time to catch some sleep before school on Monday :D And heck, it's only 12 bucks :D

I wanna goi :( Nothing ever happens here in South Florida. You would have thought so... but nah. We got jack Johnson, dave Mathews band, and Greenday coming up, I'd like to go. And yeah i wanna try scoring tickets to the VMA's but I STRONGLY doubt I'll get any lol.

Only rock bands play here...and modest mouse =\ Sometimes death cab for cutie plays here too.

I'm going to Otakon this weekend, they've got a jpop band that's gonna be there. I'll probably see the show. Last year they had L'arc and Angela (both of which were really good, especially Angela heheh). Earlier this year I went to Sakuracon in Washington and saw Angela (again >.>) and Kumiko Kato.

OH! In a couple weeks I'll be going to Anime Weekend Atlanta. Yoko Ishida will be there

Jack Johnson played two night ago and I missed it, I wanted to go so bad! :( We also had greenday, foo fighters and queens of the stone age recently. Concerts get expensive if you load up on them, so I had to pick and choose :( BUT OASIS!!!! *dances around the room*

I am going to see Kelly Clarkson in September.

My favorite is "They Are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbors!! They Have Come Back From the Dead!! Ahhhh!" LOL
