MP3 editing program?
 

Does anyone know a program where I can shorten or add the length of a song? like if the song was 4mins and I want to cut it to 3mins 30secs...please

Acoustica MP3 Mixer is what I use for simple, at home edits. It works really well, has a simple interface, and is very user friendly. I use sony acid in the audio recording studio at school, but its much more complicated and expensive. You can download a 15 day trial of Acoustica from www.download.com

Do you own Nero? Most people do but dont realise it has a bundled audio editor with it, I use it to do exactly what you want to do.

Very easy to use, but I use a cracked version and I have to re-install it every once in a while until they require me to send in the registration key (which I obviously don't have)

Acid 4.0 might be able to sort you out. It's pretty easy to get to grips with. I use it a lot if I want specific parts of songs for ringtones on my mobile phone.

I own Nero.. but i dunno it comes with an audio editor.. where do i find it? can i cut only a section of the song out? cuz my fone only allows 30 sec mp3... so i have been trying to find a program to cut out the chrous of songs..

It's actually called the NERO wave editor. It should have come with the installation.

i cant really find it.. NERO, the program that can burn dvd and cd program, right? or i am mistaken it for somethign else
