Namie Amuro regains custody of son

A family court in Japan gave Namie Amuro custody of her son on 22 August 2005. Following their divorce in 2002 Namie's ex-husband SAM had legal custody of the child, although the two of them maintained apartments in the same building so the boy could be raised by both parents.

I'm so happy for Namie :) May Haruto have a peaceful childhood with his mom.

She divorced TRF dancer Sam (43) in July 2002 after five years of marriage, at which time Sam was given "parental authority" over their son, while Amuro had the "upbringing authority." Following an arbitration by the family court, Amuro now has both. Both Amuro and TRF are with the Avex record label and are said to remain friends."

I had actually heard that Namie got full custody of her child a while ago but I guess now it's officially on paper.

I'm so glad he under Namie's wing now, his father would've been a really bad influence. Besides him cheating on her lord only knows what else he would've taught Haruto. and btw How old is Haruto?

Do you know anything at all about what kind of person SAM is? That's a horrible thing to say about a father.

I think Haruto is around 7.
