Becasue of You similarity to Uso mitaina I LOVE YOU by Hikki
 

i was listening to DEEP RIVER yesterday by utada hikaru then i notice a part was similar to ayu's guitar part in BoY... >_< ry listening to it

They don't sound all that alike, but I understand what you're hearing in the slight similarities. It's mostly in the abrupt notes that have a similar fashion to those in BoY.

Uso Mitai na I Love You sounds more like Hikari/Simple Clean than anything o_O;

i dunno...i always thought the beginning sounded somewhat similar, but the rest, not at all.

Yeah the first thing I thought was that it sounded like Simple and Clean. o__o Maybe the guitar notes at the start are slightly similar, but not too much. =p

At first I was thinking what similarity you could find between BoY and Uso... Then I realize you're talking about the music in the beginning of Uso and the music after the beginning chorus in BoY. Yeah melody is similar but the feeling is different. In BoY that melody sounds desperate... in Uso it sounds like hikki's about to scold someone (although I've never read the lyric in Uso :P).

Simple and Clean sounds like Uso because the music in Simple and Clean is the original melody when hikki first composed the song. When she wrote the japanese lyric of the song (which is Hikari), she couldn't fit the words into the music, so she changed the music of the chorus. She felt "bad" about that (ahh I can't really remember what she felt) so she made another song to fulfill that part of melody, which is Uso :D.

I don't really hear much, if any similarity. They are both fairly common guitar riffs (especially Utada's).

I noticed the similarity the first time I heard 'Because of You'.

I wouldn't dare bring it up though.

I thought Uso was a cover?

I dont hear the similarities..only with Uso and Simple and Clean
