8th album with ?
 
Many CDs recently has T-shirt for the first press limited..
Do As Infinity, Ami, and Koda Kumi tried to design a T-shirt and sale it with their albums.
It seems to be a new way to promo their CDs. So is it a good idea with T-shirt or fake nails like hitomi in ayu new album?

Fake nails = bad. Wouldn't it be just weird for the guys? Personally, I think t-shirt is much better. I want an Ayu t-shirt! But Ayu doesn't do "first press limited" albums. It's not her way of promoting an album. She does the "multiple covers" thing... I want an Ayu t-shirt!

Oh, can you get a first press limited CD from a store? Or is it just on order?

Yeah i think so... the only downfall to it is people getting sick of seeing Ayu everywhere then hating her, haha

...um what about the first press release of Duty with the poster? Rainbow with the extra junk? A best with the Slipcover? My Story with the 4 covers? :rolleyes

Those were first press limited versions? I never knew! I thought all albums had those stuff... the multiple covers for "MY STORY", poster from "Duty", slipcover for "A BEST" and "A BALLADS"...

By the way, my "Duty" album said there was a poster, but there wasn't any... :(

I bought duty too late to come with one. And it really depends on the retailer, sometimes there aren't any left from a certain vendor. It's a "while supplies last" thing.

I'd love to have a shirt with the Ayu Key Logo or the simple 'A' or an 'H' or maybe both, but not an image of Ayumi (not that I don't like her but it's better for me to have a logo than a photo).

There were posters for A BALLADS and A BEST too, and a lucky draw for both (stationary for A BEST, and bath beads & pillows for A BALLADS)... not just slipcases for them :)

The T-shirt sounds like an excellent idea. I would love to wear an Ayu T-shirt to anywhere I go :D !

hey! fake nails are cute...i love them. if ayu's cd were to come with fake nails, that would be very suitable for her. after all, ayu was the one who started the nail art craze. why shouldn't she have fake nails as gifts in her album? :irked

since nails would be unsuitable for guys, there got be 2 choices of gift, maybe a t-shirt just like you guys wanted. isn't that perfect for everyone? but personally, i hate t-shirt, it's very boring... maybe a kimono would be better.

I don't know if the t-shirt would be a great idea, though, since Ayumi already has a line of clothes that she represents (MTRL). I think for those who live in Japan, it'd be easier to just go to one of the stores.

I'd want it to come with a Hapi coat like they sold at Stadium Tour! ^_^ but that'd make the album cost, like, US$60 :P
