I read this in am730 newspaper today (Nov 25). Article is in chinese cause newspaper is from HK.

It said Ayu's new dark hair look was supposed to represent a new beginning for her. It also said that Ayu was spotted partying with friends without Tomoya (is that his name? I can't remember).

I'm not sure which magazine it is because the name written is in chinese and I dunno if it's a chinese name for a japanese mag.

I wonder if it's true...

I hope not, because it would be a real sad thing for both Ayu and Tomoya. I mean, they've been together since forever and I hope Tomoya would be Ayu's husband, not some other random guy... lol. I don't know. I really don't find chinese articles trustworthy....

And after reading that article again, all I can say is that's only a belief. Just because a reporter "sees" a celebrity not hanging out with their gf/bf doesn't mean they've broken. And I also think that because of the newspaper repeatingly say that they two of them have broken up, it's becoming less and less believable. Either way, news article are worthless without proof, especially true when it comes to celebrity news.

uhhh yes. lol. They have been going out since Ayu was a teenager I believe. They have been engaged for several years now.

As for now, I would say this is rumor and not news. Although her going to the Mr. and Mrs. Smith thing alone makes me wonder. As far as I know, she wasn't there for any work related reason, so it does seem a bit odd to me that she would be alone.

Man these news paper people are soo bored with their life and they cannot come up with new stories??? But yeah it's totally not true because they have been saying that they are having serious relationship problem for years!!

It's not like they have to do every little thing together or be tied together 24/7. They can do their different things. Nobody can force them to watch a movie together.

Besides, if this has been going on for years, but they're still saying "Hamasaki and Nagase may have broken up blah blah blah", then it's obvious that they're still together.

If they were right years ago, they'd have stopped posting articles like this. But they're continuing to. Which obviously means they haven't broken up yet.

I agree, just because they didn't go out together doesn't mean they have split up - lots of couples don't do everything together, some have separate friends. I love the way tabloid writers think: "they're not out together, they must have split!", "she's playing a pregnant woman in a film, but look at the size of her, she must really be pregnant!" [that one was a real thought, it was one actress playing a pregnant woman in a film, but she had padding on, and was never pregnant, but that was the conclusion of one tabloid writer :rolleyes ] Tabloid writers are not very smart :laugh

..does Ayu live in gay bars or what? lol Every time they "break up" she's in a freakin gay bar- and of course, they "break up" every single week. :rolleyes

I'll just think she hangs there because she enjoys our company.:P Reminds me of Kelly Osbourne who did a "Gay Bar Tour." She went around to many different nightclubs to perform, I got to see her sing One Word at this nightclub called Neighbors in Seattle. :D
