ayu's B/W PV meanings & explanations...?

CAROLS,HEAVEN,rainy day
I think these are 3 of ayu's PVs which are in B/W style. I think yeah....just 3 rite? what do you think...? B/W or Colour (FULL COLOUR)? what kind of message/feeling does ayu wanna show from these B/W PV? emphasizing the PV meaning & emotions?

It's not really in black and white..it's just a cooler shade in colour

we learn this in english class
i think the reason why she uses black n white is to make the PV more meaningful and effective in delivering the message. It creates the sad mood and emotion and u feel sympathetic . it is also to make the PV looks like a classic. in 'rainy day' it is done so to make as if it was in the olden days.

rainy day isn't really B/W, though it's pretty close to it and the most probable reason is the one jasjass gave.

I think you might be reading into the coloring too much, though. The director may just have liked the look of black & white versus color. For instance, and this is just my opinion, after seeing pictures of the making of "Heaven" I think that B&W was the way to go (the dress was a garish color that didn't compliment the background)

Indeed, devilayu.

Uh, wow. I almost called you ImpactBreaker then. I always get the two avatars mixed up when I don't look at them properly. >_<
