how do i upload my sig and avatar?
 

how do i upload my avatar because everytime i try it takes forever and doesn't work. i also can't figure out how to do the signature thing. :confused :confused :confused

The avatar uploading might be down. Try again in the morning. Also, you can click on the thread about signature hosting to find some free sig hosting sites. Some others to try are frailart.net and hostmysig.com. Both of these are free, also.

You had problems uploading avatars? To my knowledge, I don't think avatar uploading has been disabled, but has any1 else had problems trying it? :think

I didn't have trouble uploading my avatar last time I tried, but I think the one to ask would be Grant, since he changes his once a day! :P

Well, if you do seem to be having problems with uploading, it could be one of a few things. Your internet connection may have timed out and the pic didn't save corrently to the server. Or, it may be the filetype. JPEG files are usually best for such things, since they have good quality, as well as a reasonable filesize. You could try a gif, but those are usually only good for animated avatars.

Send me the file for you avatar and I can update it for you.

If you go into your control panel, you can upload it from your comp. It should be working. Or if you have the picture uploaded to some webspace, send me the link to your picture and I can add it.

You can't upload BMP files for your avatar. They have to be JPEG (JPG) or GIF files.
