How many non-album single-Acoustic Orchestras are there?

There are the 4 ayumi-x album acoustic orchestra. Along with the my story classical. Can anyone tell me how many and what they are? For instance

Moments (Found in Moments Single)
Voyage (Found in No way To Say Single)
No Way to Say (Found in ^^)

yeah...you don't have to do the (xxxx) stuff, just let me know how many there are...(wishes that carols had one)

Trust had one.

Some songs have a different version in the single (I think) than in the albums also. Seasons for example.

Delirium-Zer0 31st January 2006 06:36 AM

Here's all 11 of them. Just barely enough for a CD actually... spiffy. :)

YOU "Acoustic Version"
Trust "Acoustic Version"
For My Dear... "Acoustic Version"
SEASONS "Acoustic Orchestra version" (single version)
Dearest "Acoustic Piano Version"
No way to say "Acoustic Version"
Voyage "Acoustic Orchestra Version" (from "No way to say")
Moments "Acoustic Piano Version"
CAROLS "Hammond B-3 Whisper" (i think this counts, personally, since it's done on a real Hammond organ and not a synthesizer, and cuz it's quiet like that)
alterna "Orchestra Version" (from "HEAVEN")
HEAVEN "Piano Version"

The YOU and FMD Acoustics on the singles are different from the AO versions on the ayu-mi-x album.
There's also For My Dear... "Acoustic version -Instrumental" off the FMD Maxi reissue, and I'm not sure which version of SEASONS's AO version is on No way to say, the Single version or the ayu-mi-x III version.

I had that one before, but I thought it was fanmade :shrug

Tasked 31st January 2006 09:18 PM

I'm pretty sure it's not fanmade; but here it is... Oh and don't mistake it with any of the fanmade piano instrumentals etc :)

The source of that remix is still a mystery. Someone with access to the vocal track did it, but who knows if they were commissioned by avex before plans were possibly scrapped for a 5th AO album. Nothing's been confirmed or disproved regarding this remix, it's all speculation.

*Petit* 31st January 2006 10:02 PM

How do you know it's official when no-one knows where it comes from? :(

BTW it's a very beautiful mix. It sounds like it could be on any AOV mix CD. Perhaps they were planning an AC CD of rainbow songs too?

Delirium-Zer0 31st January 2006 10:31 PM

That's my theory (as well as most people's)... due to the high quality of the mix, and the time when the track showed up, we're thinking avex had already contacted people to make AO versions of the songs, and when they scrapped the plans for ayu-mi-x 5 AO version, whoever did the track was proud of it and leaked it out.

Either that, or it is just a fan work, but the fan would probably have to be "on the inside" to have access to the vocal track.

It seems like a very likely explanation. Perhaps the project never was finished because of the poor sales of the other remix albums released after RAINBOW.

But with the instrumental available, woulden't it be quite easy to make an almost perfect vocal track?

Delirium-Zer0 31st January 2006 10:46 PM

There's always ghosting behind it, at least a little. And it's much harder to tell in this AO version if some of the sounds in the music are ghosting or if they're done on purpose, just cuz of the nature of the track.

tsuki 31st January 2006 10:52 PM

aah, okay, I didn't know.
it would be amazing to have a "new" acoustic/orchestra album with a mixture of rainbow/memorial address songs.
personally I didn't like my story classical that much .__.
I wonder if they'll do (miss)understood...

Why would someone go through ALLLL that trouble to create a perfect vocal track (which is like impossible) and make a perfect professional remix, and then don't take credit for it...

It could've been a japanese fan? I don't know.

I think Delirium-Zer0 explanation is the most likely. And I hope we'll get another AO album wit (m)u and RAINBOW songs. Or something like that soon!

I was wondering about that version too, I had downloaded it from a forum, but there was no information about it. I had heard the fanmade rumour as well, your version seems like a good explanation for it.
