How long are threads being kept?
 

How long are threads being kept on the forum? are they cleared regularly after therez been no activities?

Threads that get a reply go always go to the first page. The threads that aren't being replied go to the other pages and if no one search for them and do not reply they will have more chances of being deleted specially the ones in the last page. AHS has a limited space to stocking threads so when there's need to free some space the staff gets the threads on the last pages and delete them. Well this is what I think how it happens. The super old threads with no replies are probably deleted every week or two. (I may be completely wrong:P so don't take it as a 100% truth since it's only a guess LOL)

Threads are deleted whenever we run out of space on the server. At the moment we still have threads dating back to November 15. I'm not sure how much longer it will be before we have to delete topics again.

We have a pretty good amount of space left, so we should be ok for a while. We shouldn't have to delete any topics for a while. When the time comes that we need to clear space, we'll go through and selectively delete topics. So we'll probably get rid of stuff from the chat room, so that more of the Ayu news stuff can stay.

I suggest that valuable news should be keep in the admins/mods' pc, enabling us to free more space for the forum.

Chat rooms should be the first priorities for pruning actions.
