DC++ help! i dont understand it at all!
 

ok i was told that DC++ plus has tons of music and stuff....so i download it, and i dont understand one bit of it. i tried asking people in the hub thingies, but they kept telling me "You're not sharing enough, your sharesize is 0 B and the minimum allowed is 1.00 GiB" how do i share stuff? how do i download stuff? ive tried searching, but no results come up. ive tried different artists....nothing at all. HELP

File - Options - Shares...then you put your folder in there, share have fun yay

Don't worry, it totally confused me at first, too.

The way it works, is, most hubs has a minimum filesharing size -- which means you need to be "sharing" at least 1 GB, or 5 GB, etc. (This will be listed under Min. Share in the listings).

The first thing you should do is, go up to File, Settings, and click on "Sharing". Hit "Add folder" and browse for the folders with all your stuff, and hit "OK". Or you can just do what I did and create one big folder, and move all your videos and whatnot there. Once you add the content, how much you are sharing should be displayed. Leave DC++ running for a bit to "hash" the files then try re-entering the hub.
